I got an iPhone from my employer this week, as a work phone. It feels like I’m using the phone version of one of these.

I think Every Apple 1 came from the Steve Jobs garage. That was the factory.
That said, I have a nice black Bell and Howell Apple ][ you can have for 10K.

Sinclair or GTFAC. Okay, but seriously, unless one is an Apple cultist beyond measure, an Osborne portable is just cooler and costs a tiny fraction of that.

Apple I in an Apple II body?
Needs to come with the original Apple I body to make it worth the $55,000.

I’m with you, it would probably screw up my iTunes library.

I used to see B&H Apple ][s at the sidewalk sale in Dallas for $20/each. There were PALLETS of them. If I was smart, I’d have bought them all.

Yeah, me too. If I had one laying around, I would be ecstatic, but I don’t.

Cutting edge then. If I had one now, I would be loving it. But, I don’t.

Yeah, from what I read, most early ones were from his garage. Somewhere in the article they stated that the Henry Ford Museum paid just under a million $ for one of those. Wish i had one to sell.

I’m amazed you did not see that earlier, Denver. Surely your senses must have been ablaze. Did you see the winning bid?

You could say my heart skipped a beat and yes I saw it and I think whoever bought it got it for a bargain. Only 18 of the original Apple 1s had a formed plastic case. They were sold through one simi valley electronics store, the rest were home built as kits and were lucky to get a case, if they did it was usually made of wood.
